Moving to Florida
I am moving to Florida to be closer to my family. I have lived away from my family for the last 17 years and am looking forward to being within a drive from my parents, sister and nieces.
This loan will help cover moving related costs - the move from Washington, DC to Miami, Fl and the purchase of furniture, etc.
There are several reasons I am a good candidate for this loan:

Better Rate than Student Loans
Purpose of loan:
This loan will be used to pay down student loans. I just got married and my wife has some student loans. I can get a better rate through Prosper than I can through the government (6.8%).
My financial situation:
I am a good candidate for this loan because... we have excellent credit. I have a very steady high income and my wife just graduated with a nursing degree. We will be DINK's in the very near future and intend to pay off the loans much faster than the government expects us to. I have acquired loans through Prosper before and always paid on-time. Finances are very important to me and debts always get paid off as soon as possible. Cleaning up the finances
My wife and I have two cc balances totaling ~$5k, and have a balance with a furniture store of just under $2k. Interest rates are 12+% on the cc's.
We are both in great job situations and are just looking to clean up a little debt we acquired in the last year as we moved, bought a house, and went through the financial pains of that.
We are extremely reliable, never defaulted (or even have been late) on any payment. We are comfortable making the payments as is, but consolidating down to a single payment with a fixed time frame is attractive to us. I have paid off a previous Prosper loan early as well.
We bring home a little over 5k a month. We have a 1500 a month house payment (PIMI), two cars totaling $600 a month, and then normal living expenses that eat up a good chunk of our take home. Our total debt service is somewhere around $400 a month right now. Consolidating this down will allow us a little more flexibility to save/invest.

Purpose of loan: Debt consolidation
This loan will be used to... pay off a a higher interest personal loan of $2500 and all of my credit cards (total balance of about $1700). $2500 personal loan from internet to replace furnace- I wish I'd seen Prosper first!

Debt Consolidation
Purpose of loan:
This loan will be used to complete home and rental property.
My financial situation:
Employed with a state level court for over 10 years.
Loan proceeds will be used to complete my rental property and home.
I own my family home that is over 60 years. This home was flooded during Hurricane Katrina.
If I receive this loan I will reduce my expenses and acquire additional rental income.
My neighbors have offered to help with the sheetrock, however, this loan will help me to finish the plumbing and buy the shetrock and other materials.
