Purpose of loan:
I am looking to acquire a loan that will be used to help purchase an existing mom-and-pop convenience store in my hometown of Portland, Oregon. The current owners have been confident in my work ethic and drive, and will be carrying the loan on the market. I am looking for the remaining amount needed for a 20% down payment and some working capital. The store has been open for over 14 years and is profitable. A: We are in the process of drafting a buy-out contract. The turnover of the market is right at 7 and the gross profit is just about $70,000. My first few months will be spent adjusting inventory to better fit the neighborhood. All cash flow will be invested into the business.
