Group Misrepresentation and Miscategorization

As a group leader, it is your responsibility to be truthful in all respects when describing your group, to put your group's best foot forward, and to correctly categorize your group. This promotes trust and openness in the marketplace, and will prevent lenders from placing bids on listings that they did not intend to bid on.

Other Prosper users may report your group for a number of reasons, including offensiveness, misrepresentation, or miscategorization. If another member reports your group for misrepresentation or miscategorization, and your group is found to be in violation of these rules, you will be asked to remove the incorrect category or face group suspension.
