How do I view my listing?

When you sign in to Prosper, the "My Account > Borrowing" page will have a link to your listing. Simply click on your listing title at the top to view it. From here you can easily review the progress of your listing, such as how many days remain for bidding and the current interest rate, as well as the individual bids.

How does bidding work?

Learn about bidding.

What if my listing ends with less than 100% funding?

If your listing runs out of time and is not yet 100% funded, no loan will be created. If you want to try again, you can create a new listing at no charge. If you had trouble attracting enough bids the first time, you should check the historical loan rates table, and consider lowering the amount requested and/or raising the interest rate to attract more lenders.

Can I make changes to my listing?

You cannot revise your listing at any time. You can, however, withdraw your listing, and create a new listing with your changes. There is no fee for withdrawing your listing and creating a new one. Learn how to withdraw your listing.

Can I withdraw my listing?

There are certain scenarios when you may want to withdraw and cancel your listing. For example, you may be uncertain about taking a loan, or would like to create a new listing that you think will be more attractive to lenders, or perhaps you simply want a different loan amount or interest rate. You may withdraw your listing at any time (up to the point when it closes) with no penalty. When your listing is withdrawn, lenders who bid on your listing will be free to place bids on other listings instead. Learn how to withdraw your listing.

Can I end my listing early and get the loan faster?

Yes. If you are satisfied with the interest rate and don't care to keep it posted any longer, feel free to end the listing early. Some people will prefer to keep their listing posted longer in the hopes of securing a lower interest rate. You have the freedom to fund your loan at any time and at any interest rate your listing has generated. Learn how to fund your listing early.

How can I get more lenders to bid?

Prosper lenders all have different ways of determining which listings they want to bid on. Regardless of their methods, if you have a strong listing and are offering an attractive interest rate, they will find your listing.

If your credit is not great, you should get as many friends and family members to participate in your loan as possible. Just getting a few $50 bids from friends and family can be a great indicator of the strength of your social network, and can help your listing reach the tipping point, at which many lender bids flood in. Invite friends and family now.

Whatever you do, don't contact lenders through the Prosper site and ask them for bids: this is strictly forbidden by Prosper policy.

How long will my listing be available?

Your listing will be available to the public for 7 days. Once your listing has ended, it can only be viewed by you and registered Prosper lenders.
