Sometime in September 2007 Prosper decided to remove Group Leader Fees and I applaud them for it. There is less incentive than ever before for becoming a Group Leader and running a group. In theory the groups that continue from this point will more likely model the original idea behind groups.

The bottom line: You are welcome to join this group if you need a loan. You can expect that as your Group Leader and Lender on your loan that I am going to do everything within my power to determine whether you have the capacity and desire to repay. If you are not a good candidate, I will tell you. If you are a good candidate, I will fight to assure that your loan becomes fully funded and that it gets the exposure it deserves.
